History
Founded on February 8, 1979 in Porto, the company CARDOSO & MAIA, SA has the object of parts and accessories for cars of all brands. Market development and success achieved by the company led to its relocation to Vila do Conde, 13 years after its founding. The need for space, coupled with the progressive incorporation of new product lines as well as the requirement of a very large domestic market were instrumental in this decision.
Starting in 1993, for the company's strategy was deliberate its geographic expansion, seeking greater proximity to the market as well as peneteração in market segments that previously were not at your fingertips.
By the year 1999, were opened thirteen branches located throughout the country, continent and islands. Simultaneously throughout the course of business, all steps were accompanied by corresponding increases in capital successively looking to strengthen and consolidate its position.
In 1999, the Company headquarters in Vila do Conde, suffers through an expansion of its initial 4700 m2 to about 13 700 m2.
Between 1999 and 2001, the company also sought to strengthen its position and its national scope through the acquisition of shares in other companies, thereby giving rise to the group CARDOSO & MAIA.
Currently we have a privileged position, a story of a journey and an experience that speaks for us.
We seek more cement and consolidate our position by offering services and quality products to meet the daily needs of our customers, anticipating their aspirations.
Pursuing this same strategy and in order to consolidate our position in a very specific market in February 2005 opened a new logistics surface in Loures, to ensure a better level of service to our customers.
More recently we open new warehouses in Braga (in the north) and Oporto (Paranhos) in order to ensure a better response.
